App Description
BranchOut - timed two-choice scenarios 10 rounds 3 lives, scores saved on device
BranchOut is a compact Android game built around quick decisions. In BranchOut, each step presents a short everyday-style situation and two possible branches. You choose one path per step while a visible countdown runs. BranchOut keeps the rules simple so you can focus on reading and reacting.
How BranchOut plays: one round in BranchOut consists of exactly ten situations in a fixed sequence. For every situation, BranchOut shows two buttons. If you select the branch the game treats as the stronger choice, BranchOut awards ten points. If you pick the other branch or let the timer expire, BranchOut removes one life. BranchOut gives you three lives at the start of each new run. The round in BranchOut counts as a win if you reach the end of all ten steps with at least one life remaining. If your lives reach zero, BranchOut ends the round as a loss.
BranchOut stores your session data on the device using a local database (Room). During play, BranchOut updates your score, lives, and position in the round so progress can be restored consistently when you move between screens. When a run finishes, BranchOut opens a dedicated results screen. There you see whether that run was a win or a loss and your final score for that attempt. For winning runs only, BranchOut also keeps a short local list—up to five entries—of your highest scores from past successful rounds so you can compare your own results over time. From the same screen, BranchOut offers a Play again control that starts a new run with a fresh session.
Before the game, BranchOut uses a first screen with a Next control. If your device has a working network connection, BranchOut may load web content in that step as part of onboarding. If you are offline, BranchOut loads a built-in English guide (the same information you can read inside the app assets) and still lets you continue with Next into the main BranchOut challenge. The core BranchOut experience does not rely on multiplayer, chat, or cloud leaderboards; scores and history you see are from your own device.
BranchOut suits players who like light strategy framed as life choices, a steady ten-second rhythm, and clear win/lose outcomes. Install BranchOut when you want a self-contained round you can finish in a few minutes, track your own best winning scores, and replay whenever you open the app again.
