App Description
Local music player with tape-style controls, a modular FX rack and Wave Map.
Give your music collection a player with character.
DIG is a local music player for people who enjoy owning their music and getting hands-on with sound. Its retro hardware-inspired interface brings together a tactile shuttle wheel, moving level meters, a landscape Wave Map and a modular effects rack.
Rediscover the albums you know, explore the details you missed, or give a familiar track a different texture.
HANDS-ON PLAYBACK
Turn the shuttle wheel to control speed and direction. Explore forward and reverse playback with the feel of a physical transport. Distinct playback buttons and an amber display put the listening experience at the center.
YOUR OWN EFFECTS RACK
Build a chain with up to 10 effect slots. Choose the effects, change their order, bypass individual processors and turn your phone sideways for detailed controls. The rack processes music played inside DIG.
SHAPE THE SOUND
• PEQ-8: an eight-band parametric equalizer with frequency, gain and Q controls.
• 4B COMP: four-band compression for shaping dynamics across the frequency range.
• DIG MASTER: multiband processing with basic and advanced controls, plus limiting.
• DIG STEREO: adjust the stereo presentation.
• TAPE NOISE and GHOST TRACK: explore tape-inspired noise and ghosting textures.
START WITH A PRESET
Try built-in sounds including Classical, Soft Classic Pop, Hard Metal, Dance Bass, Fresh Tape and Moderately Worn Tape. Adjust them to taste and save your own presets, or choose No Effect for unprocessed playback through the FX rack.
EXPLORE IN LANDSCAPE
Rotate the player to open Wave Map, a scrolling frequency view of the source audio around your playback position. Wave Map shows the original audio before the effects rack; it is not an analyzer of the processed output.
MADE FOR YOUR LOCAL COLLECTION
Open your own music folders and listen with the offline license described below. Seven built-in demo tracks let you explore the player and effects right away. DIG does not provide a streaming catalog or a music-download service.
No ads. No DIG account registration is required. Your music and sound settings stay on your device.
For listeners who miss the character of physical music players—and enjoy making the sound their own.
Full use requires online Google Play verification on first install or upgrade if no valid local license exists. Use the account that acquired DIG. If your entitlement remains valid, verify again without buying again.
Offline access lasts 180 × 24 hours from the latest new successful verification, not purchase, installation or restart. Each new success immediately starts a fresh 180-day period. Reusing old results does not extend it. DIG tries when opened and when connectivity returns.
Temporary network or verification failures neither cancel a valid local license nor extend it. Without a valid license, or after expiry if verification still fails, only each original track's first 30 seconds are available. A trusted, explicit no-license result from Google Play can end the period early.
Successful verification restores full use without starting playback. Music, presets and settings are kept.
Within 7 days of purchase, request a full refund with your Google Play order number or valid proof of purchase. No reason is required. Platform policies and statutory rights remain unaffected. You need not suggest improvements or wait for them first.
Effect and feature suggestions are welcome. We will assess them carefully and aim to improve future updates, without promising every suggestion in the next release.
