Set the phone on a shelf, a windowsill or a door frame. The bubble tells you if the surface is level. The angle readout tells you how far off it is when it is not.

What it does

Readings come from the phone's accelerometer, so calibrate first on a surface you trust. After that, two readings from the same spot should agree.
