5sec uses Android’s Accessibility Service API to detect when you open selected apps and to show a short pause screen before the app opens.
This permission is used only to support the core feature of mindful app pausing.

5sec does NOT:
Read screen content
Record keystrokes or text
Collect or share personal data
Track browsing, messages, or inputs
Change system settings
Prevent uninstalling or disabling the app

You can disable the Accessibility Service at any time from system settings.
