Big Text Browser – Large Font

Big font and large text on every website. Set the font size in a simple browser.

If small print makes the internet hard to read, Big Text Browser is a large font browser that works like large print for the web. You get big letters, a big address bar and big buttons, so searching and shopping take less squinting. There is no sign-up, so you can start right away.

Choose your text size
In Settings, tap - or + next to text size and the address bar and web pages grow or shrink together. It starts a little larger at 1.2x, and you can zoom text anywhere from 0.8x to 2x to suit your eyes. Turn on bold text when you want letters to stand out even more.

One big address bar, plus voice search
Type a search or a site address in the big address bar and it opens right away. If typing is a bother, tap the microphone and use voice search instead. Popular sites are already waiting on the home screen as shortcuts.

Your favorite sites on the home screen
Put the sites you visit most into the big shortcuts on the home screen. You can rename them and edit their addresses, and your bookmarks and recently visited sites are one tap away. It is an easy browser for anyone new to phones, and many families set it up as a senior browser for parents and grandparents.

Light or dark mode
Pick a light or dark screen, or let it follow your phone's display setting. At night, dark mode cuts down on glare.

Data saver
Turn on data saver to load fewer pictures and less autoplay so you use less mobile data. Tap any picture you want to see and it loads.

Pop-up blocker and anti-phishing mode
Pop-up windows that open on their own are blocked from the start, while links you tap still open as usual. Anti-phishing mode is on from the start too. It blocks file and image downloads along with install files that could be risky, and you can switch it off for a moment in Settings when you need a file. On sites without a secure connection, you get a reminder to be careful with personal information.

Tabs, sharing and history
Keep several sites open in tabs and move between them. Send the page you are reading to family with the share button. In Settings you can clear only what you choose, such as recent visits, browsing history, temporary files or website data. Make it your phone's default browser and links from messages or other apps open in big text as well. Anyone looking for a browser for seniors that still feels like a normal web browser should find it comfortable.
