"Cascia between spirituality and nature" is the application that allows the visitor to discover, in a more immersive and engaging way, through the new multilingual digital technologies, the historical, naturalistic and spiritual references of its vast territory, in particular of its places. sacred surrounded by unspoiled nature.
The Application is available for Ios and Android devices and allows the user to use the monuments, sites of interest and paths through the interaction with the integrated systems of the smartphone (geolocation, map of itineraries, navigator). The novelty of this system is the possibility for the visitor to download a single APP that manages guided tours, city tours and outdoor experiences at the same time, based on an open data system. The APP also allows you to carry out visiting experiences both online and offline, without the need to use the network continuously, manage outdoor itineraries thanks to the integration of the various telephone sensors, with the possibility of very high spatial resolution, manage multi-thematic information and different events .
"Cascia between spirituality and nature" allows you to have an interactive guide of the territory, of the paths, of cycle paths and of the main monuments in the territory of Cascia crossed by various paths, mapped in the APP, it is characterized by naturalistic / geological sites of value, important historical sites and important ancient communication routes of religious interest. The Way of Santa Rita leads from Cascia to Roccaporena through the places where the saint lived. The Benedictine roads of the Corno da Cascia Valley cross the Ocosce plateau up to Monteleone and the road of the plateaus which, following the footsteps of the Romans, crosses the Chiavano plateau, laps the Pizzuto-Alvagnano mountains and returns to Cascia through the fascinating Maltignano Valley.
