Cenuka is a digital credit application that allows Uganda citizens to apply for loans online in a simple and transparent way.
Loan products:
- Loan amount: UGX20,000 – UGX1,000,000
- Repayment period: 91 to 365 days
- Annual Effective Rate (APR): 12% – 30% per year
- Service fee: 0% – 10%
The final loan conditions depend on the user's risk analysis.
Example of a loan:
For example, if you choose a loan of UGX1,000,000 with a term of 365 days, the following conditions apply:
- Annual Effective Rate (APR): 24%
- Service fee: 8%
- Interest calculation: 1,000,000 × (24% ÷ 365) × 365 = UGX240,000
- Service fee: 1,000,000 × 8% = 80,000 Kz
- Total to pay: 1,000,000 + 240,000 + 80,000 = UGX1,320,000
