During installation, you must grant the app access to your smartphone's functions and answer a few questions. During operation, the app collects anonymized data without providing your personal information, in compliance with all Russian laws.

* Use of the Accessibility Service API:
We use the Accessibility Service to collect data about visited web resources (domains) and search queries. All data is encrypted during transmission and used anonymously and strictly anonymized, and is not shared with third parties. The app never uses the Accessibility Service to perform any active actions on behalf of the user. Enabling this service improves the quality of our research on the popularity of online resources.

** Use of the VPN Service (VpnService):
Since Appmeter is an app for studying the audience of mobile apps and websites, the app uses VpnService as its primary tool for monitoring mobile app usage by research panel participants. Appmeter uses VpnService as a local tunnel and does not send VPN traffic to the server. Metadata collected using VpnService is processed and analyzed directly on the study participant's device. Aggregated and anonymized app usage monitoring data does not contain any personal or confidential user data and is transmitted to the company's servers only in encrypted form.

Immediately after updating to a new version, we strongly recommend launching Appmeter and ensuring all app access permissions are enabled.
