Companion: Family Support

Support & Resources for Family Members of people with behavioral health issues

The Companion app provides support and resources to family members, friends, and caregivers (“companions”) to individuals with behavioral health issues, including substance use disorder. Join the app for a sense of community and to gain knowledge, share experiences, get and give support, and access vital resources, whether the individual to whom you are a companion hasn’t started treatment, is in treatment, is in recovery, or elsewhere in the journey. The app is also a place for individuals in grief over the loss of a loved one who struggled with their mental health or substances.

The Companion app access requires a password invitation, which is available through participating treatment providers, health plans, public sector agencies, and/or family support groups.
