App Description
Protect your privacy online with a secure connection tool.
Special PRO is an Android VPN connection manager. It lets you choose an available server, start a device-level VPN connection, and see the current connection state in one place.
How it works:
1. Open the home screen and choose a server from the server list.
2. Tap Connect and approve Android’s VPN permission prompt.
3. View the selected server and the live connection timer while the VPN is active.
4. Disconnect from the app or from the ongoing VPN notification at any time.
Features:
* Server selection — browse the available server list and choose the server you want to use.
* VPN connection control — connect and disconnect with Android system authorization.
* Connection status — see whether the VPN is connecting, connected, or disconnected, along with the active session timer.
* Smart Switch — switch to another available server when you want to change the current connection.
* Speed Test — measure the current connection’s network speed.
* IP and network information — view the current IP address, location information, and basic network details.
* Website shortcuts — open a website from the in-app recommendations or enter a web address in the built-in browser screen.
Special PRO uses Android’s VpnService API. A VPN session starts only after you tap Connect and approve the Android system dialog. When a session is active, the app keeps an ongoing foreground notification visible so that you can identify the connection and disconnect it quickly.
The app is supported by advertising and may show ads while you use the app.
## Foreground-service declaration
The app uses a foreground service only while an active VPN session is being started or maintained. This allows the app to keep the connection status visible to the user, continue the current connection-related network operation, and provide an immediate Disconnect action from the notification. The service is user-initiated, user-visible, and stops when the VPN session ends.
