Cramshot: Scan to Flashcards

Scan your notes into AI flashcards. Swipe to study, remember for exams.

Scan your notes, get AI flashcards, swipe to remember.

Cramshot is an AI flashcard maker for your own study material. Take a photo of a textbook page, a handout or handwritten notes and get flashcards you can study right away. No deck setup, no typing out cards: spend less time making study material and more time learning it.

FROM NOTES TO FLASHCARDS
1. Scan a page with your camera or import a photo.
2. The text is recognized on your phone. AI then writes concise question-and-answer cards based only on what is in your material.
3. Study in a feed: tap to reveal the answer, swipe right if you know it, swipe left to see it again.
4. Come back when cards are due. Spaced repetition brings back what you are about to forget.

STUDY WITH A SWIPE
A focused, swipe-based study feed for a few minutes between classes or a long revision session. The next card is always ready.
- One card, one concept. Short questions, short answers, with the excerpt they came from.
- Cards keep the language of your material.
- Again and Know buttons are always available; gestures are never the only way.
- Undo a rating if you swiped too fast.
- Short AI explanations for a card, grounded in your own excerpt. Not a chatbot.
- Edit, delete or report any card. You stay in control.

MADE FOR EXAMS
Set an exam date for a deck and Cramshot schedules the reviews so every card comes back before the exam, with reminders when a review is due. Use it for class tests, finals, university exams, language vocabulary or certifications.

WORKS OFFLINE, NO ACCOUNT
Your decks, cards and progress live on your phone. Studying, reviewing and progress work without an internet connection; creating new cards from a scan needs one. No account or email is required.

SHARE DECKS
Send a deck to a classmate as a file, or straight to a phone nearby.

PRIVACY
- Your photos never leave your phone. Only the text recognized from them is sent to our server and to our AI provider to create cards.
- We use an anonymous identifier to apply fair-use limits.
- You can delete all local data from Settings at any time. Full details in our privacy policy: https://cramshot-backend-427793999349.europe-central2.run.app/legal/privacy
