Gauge is built around an intuitive navigation system that moves from broad categories to specific brand details:

1. Groups: Start at the home screen by selecting one of our three primary pillars: Liquors, Liqueurs, or Ferments.

2. Categories: Within each group, explore distinct categories that define the style of the beverage. Liquors include Asian spirits, brandy, cane spirits, gin, mezcal, specialty distillates, spirit-based cocktails, tequila, vodka, and whisky. Liqueurs include anise, cream and emulsion, nut and bean, citrus as well as fruit liqueurs, and liqueur-based cocktails. Ferments include beer, cider, ferment-based cocktails, sake, specialty ferments, and wine.

3. Subcategories: Further refine your search with subcategories that provide helpful imagery and brief descriptions to help you identify specific varieties. Asian spirits include baijiu, soju, and shochu. Brandy is comprised of cognac, armagnac, calvados, Spanish brandy, and pisco. Cane spirits include rum, rhum agricole, cachaça, and others. Gin consists of compound, distilled, and London dry gin, as well as genever. Mezcal consists of blanco, reposado, añejo, and extra añejo.
