The Ohio Grape Industry invites you to explore an unpretentious wine region sewn together by meaningful connections with a focus on experiences. Ohio Wines are not about graduating from a tasting course at an award-winning winery or about the sunset view from the Ohio River Valley’s vine-studded hills.
It's about discovering a hidden taste for Dolcetto, about hearing a century of passion in a master vintner’s voice and about celebrating the Romance, Craftsmanship, Delight and Curiosity found only in Ohio wines. It’s about inspiring memories and forging deeper connections with yourself and loved ones in places held dear. It’s about life GROWN here!
The Ohio Wines Visitor’s Incentive Passport is your official guide to all things Ohio wines and offers these interactive features:
• Find wineries throughout the state, learn about the varietals they grow or wines they produce.
• Participate in the passport program to check-in, collect stamps, earn badges and redeem points for rewards.
• For each participating winery/business you visit, check-in with your geolocation and receive the following points for each individual visit to that winery/business throughout the year. You may only check-in one time per individual winery/business per day.
o First Visit = 500 points
Visits 2-10 = 100 points each visit
Visits 11+ = 10 points each visit
• Map your journeys and save different wine trails.
• Track your progress to see how many wineries you have visited, how many to go and see how close you are to reaching your next reward.
