Digi Connect Wizard for Connect Sensor Gateway

A first of its kind mobile application for the Industrial markets, the Digi Connect Wizard is for use with Digi’s Connect Sensor cellular gateway and Device Cloud.

The Connect Wizard can connect directly to the Connect Sensor over a Bluetooth interface to stream sensor values locally from the Connect Sensor. This eliminates the need from outdated and expensive LCD displays to show sensor values locally. The Connect Wizard can also connect directly to Device Cloud to verify correct installation and aid in debugging.

For installers, the Connect Wizard performs the final verification of installation to ensure the device has connected, has good signal strength and battery life.

For technicians and drivers, the Connect Wizard streams sensor values when they are on site performing an action (Like filling a tank). Installers can connect without needing any passwords or device cloud access and the device automatically scales the readings, (Example converting volts to liters) so they get real time sensor data while on site.

Permissions required for use:
Location - This is required for Bluetooth access to use the "Find Devices" feature
Camera - This is required for Camera access to use the "Scan Barcode" feature

Note: This application only works Digi’s Connect Sensor product.
