Spotter Tools Pro is a severe weather and storm chase platform for Spotter Network members, trained spotters, and chasers. Submit Spotter Network field reports, view NEXRAD Level 2 radar with custom velocity dealiasing, run a GPS beacon, get severe weather alerts with IBW filtering on tornado warnings, and track storms with Chaser Mode auto-follow. No ads, no analytics, no subscription.

★ SPOTTER NETWORK REPORTING, DONE RIGHT
File reports straight from the field the way the form is meant to be filled. Tornado, funnel cloud, rotating wall cloud, hail, measured wind, flood, flash flood, and damage. Each with the exact fields Spotter Network expects: hail size selector, wind speed + measurement method, required narratives, and optional photos. Reports queue offline and auto-upload when you reconnect; a pending-count badge tracks anything in flight. Built-in reporting guidelines reference one tap away.

★ NEXRAD LEVEL 2 RADAR
Live Level 2 decoded on your phone with no third-party tile server. Reflectivity, Velocity, and Correlation Coefficient at full radial resolution, with full elevation-tilt selection so you can interrogate storms above the lowest scan.

★ ANIMATED & COMPOSITE RADAR
Loop the last several volumes with a full transport bar (play, pause, scrub, speed, frame count). Pair single-site with a CONUS mosaic: Base Reflectivity, Composite Reflectivity, Echo Tops, or Surface Precipitation Type.

Sixteen built-in .pal palettes in the standard GR format (6 BR, 6 BV, 4 CC), or drop in your own.

★ STORM TRACK PROJECTION
Drag a heading line and the app draws a forecast cone with configurable speed and spread, then auto-detects every populated place inside the cone with an ETA.

★ SMART PUSH ALERTS
Background watcher fires NWS warning notifications with a polygon preview map attached, even when the app is closed. Three filter modes: Standard, Outbreak (Tornado + Severe focus), and PDS/Emergency only. Watch zones for current location, home, any NWS county/forecast zone, or city search. Severe-alert tone, DND override, and an optional alarm-style full-screen takeover for Tornado Emergency and PDS warnings (Android 14+, off by default). Optional push for significant SPC/SN reports and SPC outlook updates.
