App Description
Challenge the odds, and start learning to speak in Egypt easily
The "Yalla Netkalam" app is designed to help children, especially Egyptians, learn to pronounce the Egyptian dialect in a fun and interactive way. The goal is to support children who have not yet reached the pronunciation stage by providing content that is relevant to their daily environment and compensates for the shortcomings of learning the Egyptian dialect compared to Standard Arabic.
App Features:
Various Learning Collections: The app contains collections of everyday words such as vegetables, fruits, transportation, and others, helping children build their vocabulary easily.
Fun Interactive Games:
Fish Collecting Game: The fish move in a natural swimming motion (vertical and horizontal oscillation), with cheerful sounds upon collecting each fish (a splashing sound) and upon completing the game (a festive sound). The game includes animated seaweed to create an attractive marine atmosphere.
Air Bubble Game: The bubbles move randomly at a slow pace, with a fun "popping" sound upon popping each bubble and a festive sound upon completing the game.
Autism-Friendly Design: Games feature slow, smooth movements (such as the swimming motion of fish and the oscillation of bubbles), soothing colors, and soft sounds (at 50% volume) to avoid distractions and ensure a relaxing experience.
Motivating Rewards System: The "Treasure" section rewards children with achievements (such as "Star Explorer") upon completing sets, enhancing motivation.
User-Friendly Interface: An attractive visual design with a gradient background and Arabic text (Amiri script) for easy interaction.
Why the Egyptian Dialect?
We chose the Egyptian dialect to be compatible with the community surrounding Egyptian children, helping them communicate easily in their daily environment, while also making up for the lack of educational content targeted at this dialect.
