The objective of Tongits is to empty your hand of all cards or minimize the total value of unmatched cards by forming card sets (melds, known as bahay, ba-ha, buo, or balay in different languages), discarding cards, and calling a draw. The player who either empties their hand first or has the lowest points when the central stack is depleted wins the game.
