Connects EPA with card reader terminals to securely facilitate POS transactions.
Epicor Payment Application (EPA) is a cloud-hosted payment solution used by Epicor ERP systems to process Point-of-Sale (POS) transactions. Epicor Payment Companion acts as the communication bridge between cloud-hosted EPA and supported card reader terminals.
Payment Companion communicates with card reader terminals using Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. Supported card reader terminals can process EMV contact (chip), EMV contactless (tap), and magnetic stripe card transactions.
Payment Companion is designed for use with EPA hosted in the cloud. It also enables Epicor ERP systems to identify and communicate with valid card reader terminals, helping ensure secure payment transactions.
Supported Zebra Mobile Devices: TC51, TC52, TC56, TC57, TC58, TC58E, and TC501.
Supported Zebra Tablet Devices: ET401.
