Visiting app with multimedia content and personalized advice

The SuggetUS App offers an innovative visit experience to archaeological sites and places of culture in the areas of Naples, Matera and Salerno. Thanks to the integration of a recommendation algorithm, the user receives personalized suggestions based on his needs and preferences. A network of sensors connected to the App via an IoT portal returns information on crowding, air quality and weather conditions to direct routes: in the event that some points of interest are not recommended, similar ones will be proposed. Multimedia contents in augmented reality, 360° panoramic images, mini games, audiovisual and textual materials enrich the experience both during the visit and from home. The presence of both indoor and outdoor geolocation allows the user to orient themselves and effectively choose their stops. Suggestus is a project financed through PON “Business and Competitiveness” funds 2014-2020.
