SSC JE Civil Engineering Previous Papers syllabus

SSC JE 2020 contains two Papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is an objective type test conducted in online mode whereas Paper 2 is a descriptive exam conducted in offline mode. The weight-age of marks is also different in both papers i.e Paper 1 is of 200 marks and Paper 2 is of 300 marks. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer applicable in Paper 1 only.

SSC JE Paper 1 consists of 200 questions to be attempted in a duration of 2 hours. The paper is divided into 3 sections – General Intelligence, General Awareness and General Engineering (Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical). Candidates have to appear in either one of the streams of General Engineering in both Paper 1 and Paper 2.
