A life certificate is produced by a pensioner as a proof for the Government authorities for pension payments. This is to ensure that an organisation doesn’t continue pension payments after the demise of a pensioner. However, the requirement of physical presence of the pensioner was often a major hurdle due to old age or health conditions.
