Rutex

Express Solutions messenger app: orders, scanning, deliveries and payments.

Rutex is the work app for Express Solutions couriers. It's designed for last-mile delivery in Cuba, where internet connectivity is limited, so it works offline and syncs when a signal is restored.

This app is for professional use only. Only couriers with an account created by the company can access it (there is no public registry). You need a username and password provided by the administrator.

WHAT IT CAN DO

• View your assigned orders
Check the day's delivery list with customer details, address, amount due, and payment method.

• Guided workflow
Pick up, mark "on the way," and deliver, step by step. The server monitors the status of each order to prevent errors.

• Package scanning with the camera
Scan the QR code on each package when picking up and delivering to confirm you're carrying the correct items. Validation works offline and is checked again on the server upon syncing.

• Offline-first operation
Download your orders while you have a signal and keep working even if you lose internet access. Orders are queued and automatically sent when the connection is restored, preventing duplicates.

• Delivery proof
Take one or more photos as proof of delivery. Depending on your company's settings, you may also be asked for a signature or PIN confirmation.

• Cash payments (USD and CUP)
For cash-on-delivery orders, the app shows you how much to charge and in which currency. Keep track of the cash you need to pay the store, broken down by currency.

• Earnings and delivery blocks
View your payment per block (base plus stops), estimated fuel or energy costs, and distance. Review your earnings for today, the week, and your total.

• Courier profile
Add your profile picture (from your camera or gallery) and configure your vehicle: type, energy type, and whether it's your own or company-owned.

• Notifications
Receive alerts for new assignments and dispatch updates via push notifications.

• Tracking only while on duty
Your location is shared with the operator only while you are on duty and the app is open in the foreground. Tracking stops when you leave your shift or close the app. Uses medium accuracy and low battery consumption.

PRIVACY AND DATA

Rutex sends information only to Express Solutions' own server. It uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) only for push notifications. It does not include advertising, behavioral tracking, or third-party analytics. It does not access your contacts, calendar, microphone, or your entire photo gallery; the camera and photos are used only to scan packages and record evidence.

• Internet connection to download orders and sync (the day's work can be completed offline).

• Camera, location, and notification permissions for full functionality.
