Compliance has established itself as a means of self-regulation in all companies and organizations and has proven effective. However, compliance, as the documented, ongoing adherence to and compliance with regulations, laws, guidelines, and contractual obligations, is a highly complex topic that also encompasses issues of corporate governance and risk management. This course, with a focus on IT processes, provides a practical introduction to what compliance is in this comprehensive sense and how it can be implemented and managed. The presentation of compliance management is based on recognized standards such as IDW PS 980.

The written exam can be taken online or at a FernUniversität Hagen campus location of your choice. Upon passing the exam, you will receive a university certificate. Students can also have earned ECTS credits certified for a Certificate of Basic Studies.

Further information is available on the FernUniversität Hagen website under CeW (Center for Electronic Continuing Education).
