CalGrade: AI Calorie Counter

AI calorie counter: snap a photo, get calories, macros and a grade from a coach.

CalGrade turns a photo of your plate into calories, macros and a grade in seconds. Point the camera at your breakfast, a burrito bowl or Sunday roast, tap once, and your AI food coach tells you what is on the plate, how it fits your day and one swap that would make it better. No weighing, no searching a database, no guessing at portions. It is the calorie counter that talks back.

WHY IT'S DIFFERENT
Most calorie trackers hand you a number. CalGrade gives every meal a health score from 0 to 10 and a letter grade from A to F, plus one line from your coach: what worked, what didn't, what to change next time. Log breakfast, lunch and dinner and watch the grades climb through the week. Share the plate card with friends. The roast is the part people screenshot.

MEET YOUR COACHES
Five drawn characters, five voices. Pick the one that gets you moving.
• Cal the chameleon: calm and steady, no drama, just the next right step
• Buzz the bee: pure hype, celebrates every win
• Chili the cat: the roast. Savage about the food, never about you
• Otto the octopus: the numbers, the macros and the why
• Nana the hen: eat your vegetables and drink your water
Cal and Buzz are free. The other three come with Pro.

LOG IN SECONDS
• Snap a meal: portions, ingredients and nutrients from one photo, from avocado toast to a plate of tacos or a takeout curry
• Scan a barcode: millions of packaged foods
• Scan the nutrition label when the barcode is missing
• Describe it by typing or speaking: "two eggs, toast and a latte"
• Search 300+ common foods offline
• Save meals and log them again in one tap
• Fix results: "that's brown rice", "half the fries", and the numbers update

EAT-OUT MODE
Photograph a restaurant menu and CalGrade ranks the dishes for what is left of your day: best pick, good, or treat, each with the reason. Works at a diner, a sushi counter or the pizza place on the corner. Ordering gets easy without skipping the night out.

YOUR PLAN, YOUR NUMBERS
A daily calorie goal from your height, weight, age, activity and pace, using the Mifflin-St Jeor equation. Macros split for how you eat: balanced, keto, low carb, high protein, Mediterranean, vegetarian, vegan and more. Roll over up to 200 leftover calories to tomorrow, add back what you burn, and edit any target by hand. Change your mind about the pace and the plan follows.

SEE THE PROGRESS
Weight trend with a goal line, before and after photos, weekly calories and macros, water and steps, streaks and badges. Every week, a Wrapped-style recap card you can share.
