Sennit: Untangle Rope Puzzle

Tap a crossing to swap which cord goes over. Get them all right, it pulls flat.

Cords hang down the board and cross over each other in a pattern that is welded into the level. You cannot move a cord, drag an end, or change where anything sits.

The only thing you can do is tap a crossing, and that swaps which of the two cords passes over the other. Over becomes under. Nothing else about the board changes at all.

Get every crossing the right way round and the whole plait pulls flat. Get one wrong and it stays snagged, and the board shows you exactly where — the tangle is local, so a wrong crossing is a wrong crossing and not a mystery spread over the whole level.

Because nothing moves, this is a puzzle about reading a fixed picture rather than fiddling with a rope. There is no physics to fight, no end to flick loose, and no way to make the board worse by accident.

Every board is generated and then solved before it ships, so the number of swaps you are aiming at is real. No timer, a move allowance set at five times the shortest solution, and it all works offline.
