Hidden Traces is a digital investigation and mystery escape game that will put you in the shoes of a famous forensic detective. Your mission: to solve the murder of Mr. Uriarte, a businessman with no known enemies, found dead in his second home in the city center.
The game begins with an urgent call: the police are lost and the media pressure is growing. You only have a few days to solve what happened. You will have to enter the crime scene, an elegant apartment but full of secrets.
In 10 stages, you will examine every corner of the house: a photograph on the nightstand, bottles with fingerprints, a notebook with compromising information, a safe with incriminating documents, biological traces in the bathroom and a warning message on the victim's mobile phone. Each clue is a piece of the puzzle.
You will soon discover that Mr. Uriarte was not a simple businessman: he was involved in shady dealings with powerful businessmen and politicians. Classified documents, suspicious transactions, and hidden threats reveal that his death was not an isolated crime, but part of a larger conspiracy.
The suspects are many, and the evidence can be deceptive. Miren Hidalgo, his best friend, appears at the scene of the crime, but he has a strong case. Mikel Sainz, his former partner, was far from the city. However, Jon Zubia, a politician with a dubious future, had much more to lose. His connection to Uriarte and his imminent imprisonment make him the prime suspect.
The experience combines the mechanics of a digital escape room, an immersive narrative, and a hyper-realistic 3D scenario, thanks to digital twin technology. You will explore the apartment by interacting with key objects, solving riddles, deciphering codes, and analyzing evidence. Each decision will affect the outcome of the investigation.
