Citu’s objective is simple - we are a purpose led business that exist to tackle the climate crisis. From the ground up, everything we do is part of that mission. We love the challenge of sites with overlooked and forgotten potential where we can lead impactful and bold regeneration. We begin this by creating positive change to those communities and spaces outside our red-line, then designing and delivering something, honest
and amazing inside it. Delivering places sustainability should be the norm, however sadly it isn’t, therefore, we also proudly aim to create a ripple effect in all cities, industries, and forums we work in. As place makers, if a project isn’t sustainable, it’s not worth doing, and our overarching approach to the development of better places to live, work and play is fuelled by a focus on the future. The sites we develop are always brownfield,
urban, connected and embody a sense of community. We have been developing a framework of what the sustainable development of “One Tonne Places” looks like, considering the wider benefits around health and wellbeing, air quality, ecology, energy, economic development, connectivity and tackling the housing shortage – all mean that the net effect is a progressive, positive one.
