Many messaging apps allow senders to delete messages after they are sent. When that happens, the original message disappears from the chat. WAMR helps you read deleted messages by saving incoming message notifications directly on your device.

If a message is later deleted, you can open WAMR to read the deleted message and view deleted messages that disappeared from the original conversation.

With WAMR you can easily see deleted messages, recover deleted messages from notifications, and keep track of important chats that might otherwise be lost.

How WAMR works

WAMR monitors incoming message notifications and securely saves the message text on your device. When a sender deletes a message later, WAMR can display the deleted message based on the stored notification.

This allows you to read deleted messages, recover deleted messages from notifications, and see messages that disappeared from chats.

Important setup notes

To work correctly, WAMR requires notification access and should be excluded from battery optimization. Messages can only be recovered if the notification was received before the message was deleted.

Limitations

WAMR cannot recover messages deleted before installation or messages that were never delivered as notifications. The app works by saving notification content received by your device.
