MAGCalc is an application to determine the accuracy of the magnification markings on scopes having a mil-dot, regular MoA or 30/30 reticle on the Second Focal Plane.
Inaccuracies in the zoom ring's setting - where the actual magnification can be considerably different to the marked value - are a leading cause of perceived accuracy problems with ballistics software.
