Alishan spreads the mountains, shuttles through the cascading mountains and forests, marvels at the sunrise and flowing clouds, tastes the scenery of tea gardens, and the original culture of the Tsou people, how can you miss it?
Surrounded by high mountains, the Alishan area boasts a cool climate, high humidity, abundant rainfall, and frequent thick fog. The Alishan Sea of Clouds is listed as one of Taiwan's Eight Scenic Spots. One of only three remaining mountain railways in the world, it transports visitors through the forest. Explore indigenous culture and gain a deeper understanding of the area. Entire traditional rituals are imbued with cultural identity. The leather carving, rattan weaving, and wood carving techniques developed through daily life fully embody the Tsou culture. Ascending the mountainside, you'll be captivated by the unique fragrance of the forest trees, and the refreshing air of the trees. In late winter, the mountain cherry blossoms welcome visitors, and in late spring, the peach blossoms transform the valleys into a vibrant riot of color, creating a paradise-like experience.
