Folk games in modern times

The 2026 Dice Shaking Game is a modern version of the very familiar Vietnamese folk game of shaking dice.

In this game, players predict the outcome of 4 coins (or tokens) after they are shaken in a bowl and plate. The coin faces have two different colors, usually representing Even (many faces of the same color) or Odd (many faces of opposite colors).

The rules are simple:

Shake the 4 tokens, then open them to see the result.

If the number of faces of the same color is even (0, 2, 4) => Even

If the number of faces of the same color is odd (1, 3) => Odd
