New service that can open and start the vehicle door by using NFC / Bluetooth communication of smartphone

Hyundai Digital Key is a new service that allows you to open your car's door and start it using your smartphone's NFC and Bluetooth communications.

The modern digital key app offers features such as door lock / unlock, remote start, emergency alarm, and trunk opening near the vehicle via Bluetooth remote control.

You can also easily share your car keys with your family or acquaintances using the modern digital key app.

 

[main function]

1.door lock / unlock (NFC)

Unlock your smartphone's screen to touch the NFC antenna of your smartphone to the door handle of your vehicle. After digital key authentication via NFC antenna mounted on the door handle

The door is locked / unlocked.

 

2. Engine start (NFC)

Unlock the smartphone key on the wireless charger with integrated NFC antenna in the car, put the smartphone's NFC antenna facing down, press the brake button and press the start button. Startup takes place after digital key authentication.

 

3. Remote control (Bluetooth)

Low-power Bluetooth remote control allows you to lock / unlock the vehicle's door near the vehicle, control emergency alerts and remote start functions.

Remote control can not be controlled at the same time when another user remote control.

1. Vehicle Status Information

You can check the status information of the vehicle you are using as a digital key in the Hyundai Digital Key App.

 

① Driving Information: Cumulative driving distance (km), recent fuel economy (km / L), driving distance (km), fuel level (L)

② Status Information: Tire air pressure, vehicle door lock and open state, trunk open state

   ※ The information displayed is the information when the smartphone that can use the vehicle last NFC or Bluetooth communication with the vehicle.

       Therefore, it may be different from the actual state of the vehicle.

 

2. Vehicle Personalization Settings

On the AVN screen, you can link the digital key with the vehicle user's profile.

    ※ AVN Menu: Settings> User Profile> Digital Key Integration (Smart Phone)

With the smartphone linked with the profile, the side mirror, driver's seat position, AVN settings, etc. are adjusted according to the user's profile when entering the vehicle.

Take advantage of the sharing capabilities of modern digital keys to share them with family, friends and colleagues.
