The Congregation that pioneered women’s education along the West Coast has its origin in Bayonne, France, founded by Mother Veronica of the Passion in 1868. However, it grew in India as an Indian Congregation after its establishment in India on 19th November 1870.

The Apostolic Carmel has now spread across India and to other mission countries.

We are happy to present to you with the re-launching of the website who we are, who our foundress is, what we are mission entails and our desire to reach out not only to our own sisters, Apostolic Carmel associates, our staff, students and their parents but to all near and far.
