Table Ordering App for Idealpos v7.1

Pocket Pad works in conjunction with Idealpos 7.1 (Build 5 and higher) and requires the Restaurant module in Idealpos as well as Handheld Licence(s) for the number of concurrent Pocket Pad connections.

Orders can be placed on the app and sent to the Idealpos Software where products are automatically printed to Kitchen Printers or displayed on Ideal Kitchen Monitor.

The app can be operated by the server or by the customer themselves using the customer ordering function (app operation by customer only supported on tablet devices).

The app is designed to work on both smartphone devices and tablet devices, with tailored functionality specific to the device type.

Other functions available on the app are Table Maps, Product graphics, Bill printing, Table enquiries and viewing notes (notes are entered via the Idealpos Back Office and can include specials of the day or any other details).

Items can be entered with Seat Numbers and text can be added to the order.

Demo mode is available for customers to use the app without networking it to the Idealpos Software.

Pocket Pad contains all the existing features and functionality from the Ideal Handheld V4 app.
When using Pocket Pad networked with the Idealpos Software, you need to install Idealpos 7.1 - Build 5 or higher.

Pocket Pad contains the following features that are available on Tablet Devices:

- Menu Item Layout the same as Idealpos
- Landscape Only view
- Item Graphics use the same filename as Idealpos (requires the images to be copied to a URL location)
- Clerk name shows in the top left-hand corner

Pocket Pad has the following features that are available on both Smartphone and Tablet Devices:

- Supports force selling price items
- Open Stock Item prompts for price and description
- Compulsory Clerk
