Tamilarasu Magazine App is the official digital platform for the Government of Tamil Nadu. Through this app, users can subscribe and receive the e-magazine every month in Tamil and English. Stay informed about Tamil Nadu government welfare schemes, development projects, policy announcements, Chief Minister’s achievements, district progress reports, and special publications.

The Tamilarasu magazine, established on July 1, 1970, by the strenuous efforts of Muthamizharignar Kalaignar, has been the Print Media of the Government of Tamil Nadu for the past 54 years by compiling all the welfare schemes and achievements of the Government. A monthly magazine called Tamilarasu is being published on behalf of the Information and Public Relations Department by combining all the magazines published by the various departments to make all people aware of all the welfare schemes implemented by the Government and about the Government policies. Tamilarasu magazine provides and publishes the speeches of the Hon'ble Governor of Tamil Nadu, government functions presided over by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu across Tamil Nadu, review meetings, field inspections, social welfare schemes, press notes, speeches delivered by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu in various programs, announcements made under Rule 110 in the legislative assembly, schemes announced on behalf of all the departments, all department-related announcements, detailed articles on district development works, interviews and success stories of beneficiaries across the state who had benefited from the government welfare schemes, short notes on freedom fighters, Tamil scholars and national leaders, a general genre such as literature, short stories, poems and essays so that people from all walks of life can read and benefit. Also, the Government headed by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has completed three years. So far, 41 special publications, including 15 special issues, have been published through the 'Tamilaras press.

Development works, success stories including interviews of beneficiaries benefited from government welfare schemes across the state so that all parties can read and benefit from it are Published in 'Tamilarasu' magazine.Also, freedom fighters, Tamil witnesses, Biographies of political leaders are prepared and printed and distributed for public use.

'Tamilarasu' magazine is published monthly in Tamil and English. For the past 53 years, 'Tamilarasu' magazine is the print media of the Tamil Nadu government as it compiles the welfare schemes and achievements of the government and publishes them in the form of a monthly magazine.
