Surah Al-Fajr was revealed in Makkah and it has 30 ayaat. Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) urged believers to recite Surah Al-Fajar in their prayers as it is the Surah of Imam Husayn (a.s.) and the one who recites it often will be in the company of Imam Husayn (a.s.) on the Day of Judgement.
It is narrated from the Holy Prophet (Sal Allaho Alehi Wasallam) that the one who recites this Surah, Allah (S.W.T.) will forgive his sins amounting to ten times the number of people who recite this Surah.
