- **OCR camera** — photographs a label, reads all the text, and highlights a smart suggestion for the model or serial.
- **Import photo** — run OCR or barcode detection on any picture already in your gallery.
- **GPS stamp** — tag an asset with its coordinates at the tap of a button.
- **Duplicate-serial detection** — warns you before you log the same device twice.

Nothing is ever written automatically. Every capture opens a review window, so you confirm the value before it's saved.

**Search and report**
- Search across employee, serial, model, location, and department, with per-type filters.
- Export a multi-sheet Excel workbook: one sheet per asset type, plus a summary with totals by location and department.
- Save straight to Downloads, or share to email, chat, or cloud storage.

- Export a full JSON backup, import it on another device, or wipe everything. The records are yours.
