Explore Bath with this augmented reality trail with a difference!
Create your own, personalised tour from 18 of the specially chosen places that form part of the City of Bath World Heritage Site. Taste the strange flavour of the hot spring water, visit Bath’s famous buildings, or walk to stunning views over the city, it’s up to you!
You can create your trail by choosing the places you’d like to visit in three different ways depending on where you are. If you’re at the World Heritage Centre in Bath, you can scan the map pins that can be found there. If you’re planning your visit from home or already out and about in Bath, tap the map pins on the in-app map or you can add destinations from the attractions list.
The app will turn your chosen destinations into a personalised trail that you can optimise to reduce your walk time between destinations. All you need to do then is choose an avatar which will guide you around your trail on the 3D GPS map.
When you reach each destination, you can find out more about it and unlock augmented reality (AR) characters and stickers to create memories to share.
And that’s not all. Hidden around the map are golden acorns to collect and unlock to reveal hidden secrets of Bath. There are 30 to find, see if you can collect them all!
