About the specifications of FF14 information station
List of home screen headings:
The automatic update function for the list of headings is turned on by default. Although we don't expect you to use that much data (about 300 Kbytes per day), you can save on communication charges by turning off "Automatically update when app starts" and "Display new notifications" in the "three-dot button next to the search bar" > "System Config".
Widget:
The 2x1 widget is a slide type widget, and the 2x2 is a list type widget.
List-type widgets can be used more conveniently by expanding them horizontally and vertically.
You can set automatic updates from the in-app settings.
You can use it by turning on "Three dots button next to the search bar" > "System Config" > "Automatically update widgets". You can also adjust the update time at 1 hour, 3 hour, or 6 hour intervals from "Widget update period".
Reader function:
Readers cannot write comments on articles. If you wish to write a comment on an article, please select "Open in external browser" from the submenu and write your comment from an external browser such as Chrome.
If you don't like Reader, you can always open it in an external browser by clicking the three-dot button next to the search bar > System Config > and checking "Open in external browser."
Caching thumbnail images:
You can save thumbnail image cache to media storage such as microSD card. "Three dots button next to the search bar" > "System Config" > "Keep cache on external storage" is checked, then delete it from the app's history and restart it to enable it. (It is effective to delete the cache from the app settings before starting the app to further save internal storage space.)
Also, if the internal storage is below a certain amount of remaining capacity at the first startup, the "Place cache in external storage" setting will be turned on by default.
server:
Until now, RSS information was obtained directly, but from version 21.0 we have improved it so that information is obtained via the application server. This reduces the burden on the blog publisher's server, and allows the app to obtain headline information with less data.
Header information on the server side is updated every 30 minutes, but because it is routed through a distributed cache server (CDN), there is a lag of up to 2 hours.

Blogs to get:
We have a blog URL list on the server side, which is updated manually by the administrator. If the administrator deletes it due to various reasons such as RSS being no longer provided, the app will also be referencing the blog list on the server, so it will no longer be able to automatically retrieve the headlines. Also, if the server stops for some reason, the headlines in general will not be able to be updated or retrieved. note that.
