The English Revised Version (ERV) was the first official British revision of the King James Bible — New Testament published 1881, Old Testament 1885, Apocrypha 1894. It draws on the best Greek and Hebrew manuscripts available to Victorian scholarship and was a major influence on later modern translations. Public domain.
