Siren looks for scammy SMS patterns such as loan offers, fake refunds, bank and KYC alerts, trading groups and more. Messages that look like “traffic fine”, “KYC pending”, “pension life certificate” or “courier waiting” with links are flagged. Siren also checks for SMS forwarding risk and warns you about risky links in texts before you tap.

• Link Protection with TapSafe
TapSafe scans links from SMS, chat, email and the browser first, making your browsing safer and helping you avoid fake banking, KYC and shopping sites.

• Device Protection
Checks if your phone is set up safely by looking at Developer options, unknown installs, USB or Wi Fi debugging, OEM unlock, root status, time settings, screen lock, biometrics, Play Services and security updates, then highlights what to fix.

• App based Scam Protection
Looks for apps with powerful permissions like SMS, Accessibility or admin controls, flags counterfeit or impersonating apps, finds installs from unknown sources and checks if any app is trying to hijack your SMS, dialer or browser.

• SIM Swap, Call forwarding and SMS forwarding Protection
Keeps an eye on SIM and network settings that scammers target to hijack your OTPs and calls, and alerts you if it sees signs of SIM swap or unexpected call or SMS forwarding.

• Screen share Protection

• App visibility (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES) – used only for App and Privacy Protect to find risky, fake or sideloaded apps on your device. Not used for ads or marketing.
