App Description

Vintage film camera, retro CCD digicam. No launch ads, 9 cameras, live preview.

Filmbi is a vintage film camera app that lays the color and grain of real film onto the photo as you take it. It is not a filter you pick afterwards: the viewfinder already shows the film. Light leaks and grain land a little differently on every frame, so the same scene never comes back the same. Color, grain, vignetting and the date stamp are built separately for each retro camera.

Nine vintage cameras

Four are free from the first launch.
- Daily 400 - the 35mm color negative film you carry every day
- Snap 24 - a 24-exposure disposable camera, different every shot
- Digi 03 - an early-2000s CCD digicam, the y2k digital camera look
- Table 200 - food, shot on film

Five more open up once unlocked.
- Instant SQ - instant film, a square frame and a white border
- Slide 64 - the deep blue of slide film
- Mono 400 - black and white film with coarse grain
- Glow 800 - high-speed night film, neon that bleeds
- Toy 120 - a plastic-lens toy camera and cross processing

Shooting

- Live film preview - you see the vintage look before the shutter, not after.
- Original-resolution saves - developed at the camera's full resolution.
- Album - your shots grouped by month, exported to the gallery.
- Re-develop - run a photo you already took through a different film camera.
- Import - put the same film on photos already in your gallery, so it also works as a vintage photo editor for old pictures.
- Try a locked camera in the viewfinder before deciding.
- Every camera carries a short story: which film it was built from, and what it suits.

Food photos

Table 200 is the food camera. The level guide is on for shooting straight down at a table, reds and oranges sit deeper, and saturation stays restrained. Cafe desserts, home cooking, a market alley - the film warmth stays, the exaggeration does not.

Unlocking

One lifetime pass opens all nine cameras. No subscription. You can also buy a single camera, or watch an ad to try one for 3 shots. There is no ad when the app starts.

Privacy

Photos are developed on the device and never uploaded anywhere. No account, no sign-in.

Retro and analog film photography, the y2k aesthetic of an old digital camera, a CCD vintage digicam, a disposable camera, 35mm grain and light leaks, instant film - nine cameras to pick from. If you have been looking for a vintage camera app, a retro camera app or an old digicam app without a subscription, this is it.
