WFS-CES Truck Slot Management

WFS-CES is a warehouse in JFK station which provides a centralized examination location/station for trucker. In cargo airports, truck congestion at terminals is a big pain area. There are longer waiting times for truckers to pick up or deliver the cargo with no visibility. A large number of vehicles arrive in specified pick hours without any prior information. It puts burden on WFS-CES staffs. It results into inefficient utilization of resources which causes mismanagement and delays.

To streamlining the cargo terminal for appointments and truck decongestion to avoid unnecessary delays WFS-CES app will be automating the process by providing a truck slot management. WFS-CES app will be used by drivers of Trucking Companies for making booking appointments for Cargo Pick-up or Cargo drop-off at JFK Cargo Terminal at the Airport.

WFS-CES enables truck drivers to generate Vehicle Token number using which they will check-in at the parking area once they reach the terminal and proceed for document verification at Cargo Terminal counter.
