App Description

Poetry Analysis Lab: Learn poetry, devices, rhythm, structure, and writing

Poetry Analysis Lab is an interactive learning app that helps students, teachers, language learners, and poetry enthusiasts understand how poems create meaning. Rather than offering ready-made interpretations, the app guides users through close reading, literary analysis, evidence selection, and analytical writing.
Explore themes, tone, mood, imagery, symbolism, metaphor, rhythm, rhyme, poetic form, structure, and other literary devices through clear explanations, examples, quizzes, and guided activities. The Poem Library includes public-domain works with vocabulary support, historical context, annotations, favorites, and personal notes.

The Analysis Writing Lab helps users build a thesis, choose relevant quotations, explain literary techniques, and organize ideas using CER, PEEL, or mini-essay formats. Additional labs cover sonnets, haiku, villanelles, free verse, meter, stress, rhyme schemes, alliteration, assonance, and other sound devices.
Poetry Analysis Lab supports English, French, Arabic, Japanese, and Indonesian. Arabic includes right-to-left display. Core materials are available offline, while progress, notes, quiz results, and writing drafts are stored locally.
Read closely, identify patterns, support interpretations with evidence, and explain poetry with confidence.
