App Description
Conflict-safe patch bay design
BayPatch Sound Matrix is an offline-first live-sound patch-bay and signal-flow planner for FOH engineers, church AV volunteers, school theater techs, and festival audio crews who need clean input-to-output routings before load-in. Work on a tactile fullscreen routing matrix: select an input row and an output column to drop a virtual patch cord. Instant conflict detection, snake-lane assignment, and simple gain-structure arithmetic keep the job on engineering the bay—not filing free-form notes. Everything runs on-device. No cloud account required. ROUTING MATRIX • Fullscreen I/O grid with animated patch cords and multi-select tie lines • Red-highlight conflict detection when two sources claim one destination • Clear stage-to-console paths you can review and revise in seconds CHANNEL STRIPS & SNAKES • Editable channel-strip cards per input: mic/line/DI, phantom power, pad, HPF, expected SPL • Premium card layout beside the matrix for fast strip checks • Snake and multicore lane planner with color-coded channel numbers across stage boxes and FOH tails VENUE TEMPLATES Start faster with four working seeds you can duplicate and tweak: • Intimate club FOH • House-of-worship altar plus balcony • Black-box theater • Outdoor festival stage left/right Custom venues and local favorites stay on-device so crews can clone last weekend’s bay and adjust for the next show. GAIN, FLOW & REFERENCE • Gain-structure helper walking stage mic → snake → console input → bus → amp with plain dB add/subtract guidance • Signal-flow drill scenarios (insert vs aux send, Y-split etiquette, feedback path isolation) scored as short interactive challenges • Illustrated connector glossary covering XLR, TRS, TS, SpeakON, powerCON, and etherCON with pin-out diagrams SHARE CHANNEL SHEETS Build printable channel lists in the label sheet composer, then share plain text or a PDF-ready layout through the Android Sharesheet—ideal for stage hands and console ops at load-in. BUILT FOR THE VENUE OLED-friendly dark stage theme with high-contrast cord colors, plus an optional Glance home widget showing the active snake cheat-sheet. Fully offline so dead basements, festival fields, and locked-down school networks still get a finished bay. Design conflict-free stage-to-console patch bays in minutes with a visual matrix, seed templates, and shareable channel sheets—engineering-first, notes-second.
