App Description

Miranda Rights in 60+ fully voiced languages (English, Spanish, Korean, etc.)

Miranda Rights (SCUG®) is a fully voiced talking program that states Miranda rights in 60+ languages.

~~~
IMPORTANT:
There are no standardized Miranda Rights in any other languages except for English. The American Bar Association is exploring the Spanish version of Miranda Rights and are in the process of final confirmation and deployment. Accordingly, the other languages (e.g., Spanish, Chinese dialects, Filipino, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Thai, Vietnamese, etc.) are not official Miranda Rights and should not be treated as such. These translations are done through an online translation and user feedback, and it is likely not accurate until a finalized "official" translation is confirmed. These translations are available so that one day, when the legal field finally approves Miranda Rights in different languages, then this program can easily flip the switch and have actual translated Miranda Rights for the people.
Personal note, technology moves way faster than law, and legal accessibility should not be hindered by the slowness of the legal field. Law needs to be faster or the access to justice issues would be an ongoing issue.
NOTE:
This program is designed to be accessible through an English and other language voice packs. There are options in the program's settings to turn off the voice. Additionally, it will be faster and more optimized if the voice packs are downloaded for your Android device through the device's settings. Doing so would also prevent unnecessary internet data usage.
