The app Observatory for Biodiversity for the monitoring of species
The Regional Centre for Biodiversity of the Lombardy Region has established a Regional Network for the collection of reports useful to the scientific monitoring of the species in the area.
Reporting and photographing species described in prepared cards of flora or fauna (campaigns), after validation by the expert, it contributes to the enrichment of the Regional Observatory Database on Biodiversity and the scientific monitoring that the region must perform as required by the "Habitats" Directive 92/43 / EEC.
The detectors of the regional territorial network are informed about the progress of the monitoring in place, as well as on courses and events organized by the Centre for Biodiversity and protected areas of the Lombardy Region.
