LoopRipple shows how a variegated yarn will pool before you commit to the project.

Planned pooling lives or dies on one number: how many stitches each colour lasts. Count it in a small swatch, type the colours in order, and LoopRipple draws the pattern at your width, flat or in the round, with the repeat length worked out. Then it does what a plain calculator does not: it shows what happens when your count is slightly off.

COUNT A SWATCH
Up to 12 colours in the order they appear on the strand, 1 to 60 stitches each, a starting point if you begin mid-colour. Works offline.

SEE YOUR PATTERN
Any width from 2 to 200 stitches, up to 200 rows or rounds. The phase shift and the repeat are shown next to the grid. Letters in every cell for readers who do not rely on colour. Save a PNG of the grid.

THREE FUTURES (Pro)
Your measured count, one stitch tighter in every colour, one stitch looser: three grids side by side and a stability score, the share of cells that keep their colour when the count moves by one. It is a geometric forecast from your numbers, not a promise of how the fabric will look.

STABILITY FINDER (Pro)
Every width from six fewer to six more stitches, scored and sorted, so you can pick the width that survives a counting error, and a PDF comparison card for the project bag.

AI PATTERN COACH (optional)
An AI model reads the numbers the simulator computed and explains in plain words which width to try and why. You are asked for consent before the first request, only the stitch counts and the scored widths are sent (never your project name), nothing is used for training, and every suggestion is labelled as AI-generated and can be reported in the app. Free: 3 suggestions in total.
