The "Revista Dental Press de Estética", founded in 2004, and Dental Press Implantology, of 2007, merged and joined forces to create the Journal of Clinical Dentistry and Research (JCDR) that now in 2018 is once again called "Estética" (Aesthetics), with Ronaldo Hirata as Editor-in-Chief, becoming a modern journal that celebrates the concepts of Integrated Dentistry. As an official journal of the Sociedad Española de Odontología Conservadora y Estética (Spanish Society of Conservative and Aesthetic Dentistry), the Grupo Brasileiro de Materiais Dentários (Brazilian Group of Dental Materials) and the Grupo Brasileiro de Professores de Dentística (Brazilian Group of Teachers of Dentistry), publishes, in Portuguese and English, clinical protocols and research with scientific basis.
