OregonRoads is an simple-to-use app for checking winter road conditions and getting information related to traveling on Oregon's interstates and highways. Built by MAPO LLC, the app is designed to promote awareness of hazards while traveling—particularly during the winter. Data is updated in a streamlined fashion, every 10-15 minutes. Use OregonRoads to do a trip check before heading out.
Key functionalities:
• Use the map to see road conditions (as reported by ODOT crews), incidents, roadside cameras, road & weather information system (RWIS) data, and more.
• Use the tabular views to see a list of all incidents and roadside weather conditions. Check pavement temperatures and "road friction" at many RWIS sites.
• Favorites: mark road segments, roadside cameras, and weather stations as favorites to quickly get information at your fingertips.
• Road & Weather Notifications: setup custom notifications to receive notifications for any road conditions you want, triggered by any weather or road condition you choose.
• Closures: Get notified when a interstate or highway closes but setting up notifications for individual roads in Oregon.
